Saniel Laplace, 81, of Iowa City, places his conductor cap on the head of his neighbor Isaac DeJong, 11, of Iowa City, as they operate model trains in the basement of his home Tuesday Dec. 2, 2003 in Iowa City. DeJong comes over about once a month to visit with Saniel and run the model trains.
